This year, Wescove school opens as a primary center with specific instructional programs for students in kindergarten, first and second grades.  Our goal is for our students to acquire the necessary skills to become outstanding readers and capable mathematics students in the future.

Welcome to Wescove!

Welcome

We think you will be proud of the accomplishments that Wescove School has made over the previous years. Our students and dedicated teachers continue to work hard and the school community is committed to making a difference for every student at Wescove School.

This year we are focusing on improved literacy for all students, with a special emphasis on communicating through writing. We are continuing to implement the Open Court program, a rigorous and systematic approach to reading and learning language. Many grade levels made phenomenal gains in mathematics, and we are committed to continued growth for the coming school year.

Wescove School is a fantastic place for children to grow and learn. As a staff we invite you to participate in our goal of “learning with love and laughter” for students and our learning community.

A message from the Principal.

Wescove Primary Center Philosophy

At Wescove, we believe that every child has the capacity to learn, think, reason, and communicate.  As a Primary Center, students are provided with substantial advantages for growth intellectually, emotionally, socially and morally.  We strive to impart every child with the resources and support to afford them the opportunity to develop in these areas and realize their full potential.  Developmentally we recognize and adapt to each child’s need and stage of growth.  Our school strives to stimulate students to think, reason and problem solve.  We encourage students to develop self-responsibility.  We provide an environment where students are free to reveal strengths and weaknesses without loss of self-esteem.
